Code of Business Ethics

At Possibl, we are committed to conducting our business with integrity, fairness and respect for everyone we work with. This Code of Business Ethics sets out the standards we expect of our people, our contractors and our partners.

Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption

We have a clear and uncompromising stance on bribery and corruption:
•    We prohibit all forms of bribery, whether direct or indirect, including facilitation payments, kickbacks, or “secret commissions”.
•    We do not offer, give, request or accept anything of value (such as cash, gifts, hospitality or favours) to improperly influence a business decision or secure an unfair advantage.
•    We only provide and receive modest, proportionate hospitality or gifts where they are lawful, transparent, and cannot be seen as an attempt to influence decision-making.
•    We keep accurate records of all payments and expenses, and never create false or misleading entries in our books or systems.
•    We expect the same standards from the clients, candidates, suppliers and partners we work with, and we may terminate relationships where these standards are not met.

Any employee or representative who breaches this policy may face disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract, and we will cooperate fully with any lawful investigation.

Our commitment to respecting human rights

We are committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights across all of our activities and relationships. In particular, we:

•    Treat everyone with dignity, respect and fairness, and do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or bullying.
•    Support safe and healthy working conditions and do not engage in or tolerate forced labour, child labour, human trafficking or any form of modern slavery.
•    Promote equal opportunities in recruitment, selection and career progression, based on merit and relevant qualifications.
•    Respect freedom of association and the right of individuals to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.
•    Expect our suppliers, clients and other partners to uphold equivalent human rights standards in their own operations.

Speaking up and reporting concerns

We encourage anyone associated with Possibl, including employees, candidates, contractors, and suppliers, to speak up if they see or suspect:

•    Bribery or corruption
•    Human rights abuses or unsafe working conditions
•    Any serious breach of this Code

Concerns can be raised through the company internal channel, and may be reported anonymously where permitted by law. We will:

•    Treat all concerns seriously and sensitively
•    Investigate appropriately and take corrective action where needed
•    Protect individuals from retaliation for raising concerns in good faith

Continuous improvement

We review this Code regularly and update it when necessary to reflect best practice, legal requirements and feedback from our stakeholders. All colleagues are expected to read, understand and follow this Code, and to complete any training we provide on ethics, anti-bribery and human rights.
